Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a process in which direct rejuvenation of the stem cell of the hair follicles from the patient's own blood.

PRP is produced from centrifugation of peripheral intravenous blood.

Concentrates of platelets which are rich in growth factors are produced. These are administered into the hair follicle by numbing the skin.
